Replacement condition settings

We want to have the module as flexible as possible, therefore replacements are defined as rules easily editable from user interface. You don’t need direct access to your database to execute SQL and you don’t need to edit HTML templates. Plugin does it all on the fly as the page is generated. Once you don’t need the replacement anymore, simply delete the rule and original html text will be used on your page. All rules are cached also on file system of web server, so MySQL database will not be overloaded with each page view.

Search type – defines how we search for the text in the HTML source of generated page. Supported options are Plain text and Regular Expression. Plain text option means Search string needs to exactly match in your HTML text to be replaced for new value. Regular expression is more flexible way to match more complex texts and replace them with new text.

URL filter – you can define regular expression matching your page urls, where should be the replacement rule applied. If you want to apply rule on all pages of your website, use condition .* (it is regular expression matching all characters in URL)

Is logged in – condition to apply rule just for logged in users, just for anonymous users or all.
